Mitten Winter ONEderland Invitations
When we were coming up with ideas for JJ's party we knew we wanted Mitten Invitations for our "Winter ONEderland". I was having trouble finding examples of invitations that inspired me. I did however find gift tags made into paper mittens for my inspiration. So I set out on my journey to Joann Fabrics. I used textured scrapbook paper to create a more interesting look and
layered with red, white & blue to go along with our colors for the
party. I made the mittens to fit inside a white 5x7 envelope. Then, to spice up the front of these invitations I added a picture of JJ from Christmas and drew 3 snowflakes with a white marker. To top it all off I addressed them with a thin red sharpie marker and used a red circle snowflake sticker on the back enclosure.

Let me introduce myself
Hello!
My name is Jenny. I created this blog to document my favorite things - Family, Food & Design. I have many passions in life and these are just a few.
This is my little family.
My husband and I were married on the most beautiful day in June of 2009. We added our first bundle of love in January 2010 - a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier named Inga, she is our 30 pound fur ball. Last year we were ecstatic to welcome little JJ into our lives on January 18, 2011.
I am currently working on planning JJ's first birthday party. Check back for updates.
Happy Monday!
